TJ is a husband, dad and one of the nicest dudes and best sign painters in the business! I first met TJ at a Sailor Jerry event that we were both painting live at – the rest is history and I’ve been his #1 fan since. The guy is so damn good and so damn humble at what he does - it’s both refreshing and inspiring at the same time.

10 Questions with TJ
1. WHAT GOT YOU STARTED IN SIGN PAINTING?
I always loved drawing and painting as a kid. I was around my dad as he built hot rods and a lot of his friends' hot rods which had pinstriping or lettering done on the doors of them, and just from there I started teach myself at the age of 15 how to do pinstriping and later in life started learning to do lettering.

New old shop car (1956 Chevy wagon )

6. IF YOU COULD LEARN ANYTHING, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
I have always been fascinated with custom engraving like all the fancy scrolls found on Smith & Wesson Guns and on Mexican-style Harleys - so that could be cool to learn!
